There is a reason sin and its offspring wickedness continues to escalate in this world. Similar is the reason for many church-goers inability to stray from the way of sinners. A wise man said, “An evildoer listens to wicked lips; A liar pays attention to a destructive tongue” (Prov. 17:4)
“Where no oxen are, the manger is clean, But much revenue comes by the strength of the ox” (Prov. 14:4).
Regarding farming it is true that oxen are pivotal for crop production. In our scientific era they may not seem significant in some countries, but in many underdeveloped and developing nations they are still the
Today’s verse is very easy to the eye. Yet, how many of us continue to speak of the things which we are not fully aware of? People that gossip, talebearers and those that constantly speak of things that don’t concern them cause friction. Again, many preachers and self-proclaimed teachers of the Word speak the gospel
“The LORD will not allow the righteous to hunger, But He will reject the craving of the wicked” (Prov. 10:3).
The verse is very promising as well as encouraging for those who fear the Lord. It is very obvious in its intent and does not vacillate in telling the mind of the Lord. The righteous reading it will find solace
“Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding” (Job 38:4).
It is frivolous to speak wisdom to God. It is not at all absurd to speak to Him in the wisdom He granted us. It is understanding. Job found this out through his suffering. God’s wisdom is boundless while our
“And Jesus said to him, ‘Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left upon another which will not be torn down’” (Mark 13:2).
The disciples thought Jesus would set up His kingdom on earth. Since the temple was the pinnacle of God’s glory on earth from the time of its building, they chose to press
None of us, not even Israel in the wilderness, actually know how food fell from heaven except that it was an act of God. We know that food as manna. What started it all? Israel did not have food to eat and they complained to Moses. Moses then fell before God and earnestly prayed, and God answered him. The next morning
“And hearing this, Jesus said to them, ‘It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners’” (Mark 2:17).
While interpreting the verse it is obvious what it says. One way to understand it is all are sinners and Jesus came to save them
Entertaining sin will eventually bring failure in life. It is true that all men sinned and that believers too become imperfect if not for the blood of Christ. However, men that entertain sin do so deliberately. They predetermine in their hearts to work against morality. All people that sin without Christ fearlessly continue
