Changes for the Better

The Lord God always desires to take part in our daily life and activities. Often we do not realize it, but He wishes to be with us working along with us and for us. When we let Him into our lives, everything changes for the better. Everything relating to us relates to Him. Our battles will be His. Our sufferings He considers as His. Life takes a definitive curve to give it a beautiful meaning. “O LORD, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name; For You have worked wonders, Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness” (Isa. 25:1). Often people miss the things He perfectly planned for them, because they chose their mind or listened to the fear that confused them. We miss the sightings of His wonders if forget Him as the omnipotent, omniscient and the omnipresent God. So, what good things can you note to have constant joy in your life?

  1. First and foremost, consider Him as your only God and make sure that even your desires do not become your idols.
  2. Tell Him on a daily basis that He is your only God.
  3. Praise Him aptly, accurately and without qualms.
  4. Constantly thank Him for all the things you know have come by His hand.
  5. Believe that He works wonders with its meaning firmly fixed in your heart.
  6. Gather the knowledge of His wonders to be strengthened by them from time to time.
  7. Remove any presumptuous thoughts about His wonders. Importantly, do not think of them from your perspective. This only weakens your faith.
  8. Let Him work His wonders. In other words, do not hasten to work out something with the hope that He would add to your effort. He doesn’t work this way; neither did you understand the meaning of ‘wonder.’
  9. Never assume that time is being wasted, because you wanted something done your way. God works wonders to save time.
  10. What you consider as late or time waste is God’s need to save time. You can never ever achieve what He can with His wonders.
  11. So, it is wise that you never plan yourself, for He has already made many plans for you. He will keep them all. You just have to obediently wait and let time pass by to see it yourself.
